Rumah Tyang Ubud brings together two elegant, 100-year-old noble Javanese houses, restored with vintage wood and a warm, rustic character. Behind your private entrance is a villa that’s entirely yours: a private pool, bathrooms with plush towels and open-air rainfall showers, and breakfast included for up to six guests. Parking is right at the door, and the setting is a true Ubudian village—expect roosters, birds, dogs, and frogs in the distance, but not people or loud music. It’s peaceful by design: a place to relax in a beautiful pool house and feel at home.

At a Glance

Built with families in mind, the villa has a private, unfenced pool: keep children within arm’s reach at all times. Pool towels are provided, and we can arrange a baby cot/high chair (and babysitter referrals) on request. For peace of mind there’s a fire extinguisher and first-aid kit, with emergency contacts in the house manual.

Please smoke outdoors only and keep quiet hours after 10pm; in tropical Ubud, close doors/screens at dusk. With a little care, the pool and garden become a calm, family-friendly place to spend the day.

Nice big kitchen.
The living area is amazing, leading out to a beautiful, clean swimming pool.
10min walk from the Palace, lots of little restaurants just outside the house. The house is just off the main road, on a small, very quiet side street.
